COVID Notification Procedure for Parents/Guardians and School Staff
UPDATE (1/27/22): We will no longer be contact tracing students and calling parents when they are exposed to someone who is COVID positive, per the new ODH Guidelines. click here

There has been an update to our quarantine protocols for those exposed to a member of the household: instead of 10 days, you will only need to quarantine for 5 days (from the first day of symptoms) as long as you do not have any symptoms. Testing on day 5 and wearing a mask are recommended.
If you or your child tests positive for COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 by a health care provider, please notify Spencerville School’s COVID-19 Coordinator, Christina Erickson, RN, School Nurse at ericksonc@svbearcats.org.

Per Ohio Department of Health Director’s order, effective September 8, 2020, if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, whether by laboratory test or through clinical examination, you are encouraged to notify Spencerville School’s COVID-19 Coordinator, Christina Erickson, RN, School Nurse at ericksonc@svbearcats.org within 24 hours.
