SPENCERVILLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS                Friday, April 26, 2024

 

Middle School and High School FCA will be cancelled for today. Meetings will resume next week, as normal.

 

Today is the last day to purchase Prom tickets for $10. All guest forms must be turned in today.

Tickets at the door tomorrow night will be $15. 

Prom will be held tomorrow from 7:30-10:00 pm at the Veteran’s Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima. 

Students taking Lucky Limo from the Axis to the Civic Center need to arrive before 6:15pm.

 

An ID will not be required to attending Post Prom.

 

 

Any High School student planning on participating in Make a Difference Day permission slips are due next Friday May 2nd

Please turn in your permission slips to your advisors. 

 

Any High School girl in grades 9-11 wanting to play basketball we will have a meeting on Thursday May 1st in room 503. 

 

Any girl in grades 6-8 wanting to play basketball next year we will have a meeting on Thursday May 1st at 12:30 in the athletic hallway. 

 

 

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for current 8th grade- 11th grade students interested in Golf next year.

 

The Jr. High softball team defeated Perry last night.  Skye Shaw had 11 strike outs.  Haley Wannemacher, Lauren Smith, and Willough Hueber all had doubles. Sam McMichael, Sophia Sidey, Alaina Settlemire, Skye Shaw, Shelby Solomon, Sophia Seibert, Delanee Roof, Lauren Smith all had hits.  Great Job, Bearcats!

 

The Jr. High baseball team defeated Perry last night 8-7.  Logan Hartman pitched 2 innings, Drew Baumgartner pitched 3 innings, and Jude Stemen closed the game on the mound.  The Bearcats were down in the bottom of the 7th inning Keaton Jacobs drove in Drew Baumgartner and Gavin Comer to tie it up and then Jenson Henline hit a walk off single to bring in Keaton Jacobs for the Walk Off Win!  Go Bearcats!

Mercy Health is offering an Emergency Training Day for High School Students on May 30, 2024 from 9am-12pm at the GME Building across from St. Rita’s Medical Center.  There is no registration fee for this event. Students will learn the basics of CPR and utilize hands on stop The Bleed Training.  Register at kbarnett3@mercy.com
