As the new superintendent of Spencerville Local Schools, it is my privilege to welcome everyone to the 2023-24 school year. After having spent the past eleven years serving the Parkway Local School District as the middle school principal, I am humbled and honored to return “home” to Spencerville.  

I am beginning my 30th year in education with sixteen of those years at Spencerville where I served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and dean of students. I have great love for Spencerville Schools and the Spencerville community, and I am excited to use my knowledge and experience in leading the district.  

As I have transitioned to the superintendent position this summer, I have been extremely impressed with our staff. We have a dedicated team of professionals who work hard to provide the best educational experience possible for our students. I look forward to working with each of them to continue, and build upon, the excellence of Spencerville Schools. 

I wish our students and families a great 2023-24 school year. I invite parents to be active in their children's education by working closely with our teachers and principals. Good communication with the school helps avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary frustrations.

If you need help with a specific problem, do not hesitate to call the school. The school secretary can usually answer your questions or will help point you in the right direction. 

I encourage parents and community members to feel free to contact me if there are issues or concerns that have not been able to be resolved. Together, we can create a positive school experience for all!
